Once upon a time, the Earth is a beautiful globe of blue and green. Today, Earth has unhealthy signs of growing reddish-brown patches tarnishing the exquisite blue-green beauty. Apart from joining the Earth Hour campaign in switching off non-essential electricity for an hour, the mall has an on-going effort known as BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag).

i) Waterless Urinal
No more flushing! To conserve water in the men’s washrooms, Sunway Pyramid has introduced waterless urinals which do not require flushing. Each urinal is coated with a special chemical, known as BioCare Liquid, which breaks down urine into environment-friendly components once contact is made. No water needed, and hygienic at the same time!
ii) Recycling Centre
The next time you shop at Sunway Pyramid, bring along your recyclable items from home and make a pit-stop at our Alam Flora Recycling Buy Back Centre. These items below can be exchanged for cash and that may just save you a trip to the ATM!

iii) Smoke Free
As a family mall, we care for your health and that is why Sunway Pyramid is a Smoke-Free zone. Not only is smoking bad for health (for the smoker and the innocent secondhand smokers!), it pollutes the environment in these major ways;
• Air Pollution:-
Cigarettes contain over 4000 chemicals which are exhaled and released into the air and the atmosphere.
