As part of Sunway Pyramid’s effort to enhance the shopping experience for all our shoppers, we’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Hands-Free service, the first truly hands-free shopping experience in Malaysia, in June 2020!
Through our mobile app, shoppers can request for their shopping bags to be picked-up at selected retail outlets in the mall or drop-off their bags at our Hands-Free Counter for an effortless, hassle-free experience.
Before they leave the mall, they may even choose to collect their bags from the Hands-Free Counter, get it sent to their car, or delivered to their home.

Are there any charges for retailers to participate?
There will be zero charges to retailers!
Will this service involve tapping onto the retail outlet POS system?
How long would it take for the porter to reach the retail outlet, and will customers have to wait before they arrive?
We estimate that it should take no longer than 15 minutes, and customers are able to proceed to continue shopping without having to wait for the porter.
Are there restrictions on how many items can be placed into the Hands-Free bag?
No restrictions, as long as the items can fit into the bag, otherwise you may use more bags if one is not sufficient.
If our outlet runs out of bags, are we able to request for more, and will there be charges?
Yes, you may contact our Hands-Free Service crew to supply more bags to your outlet, there will be no charges incurred.
What are the restrictions on items that are eligible for this service?
There will be a list of items that customers agree not to put in the bag in the T&C section when requesting for the service. These items include but are not limited to hazardous items, live animals, high-value jewellery, personal belongings.
What if shoppers come back to my outlet and look for their bags after it’s been handed over to the porters?
Our porters will pass your retail staff a proof of collection slip which your staff can show to customers if this scenario occurs.
What about fragile items?
There will be an extra-fragile sticker for these items so that our porters take extra care when handling these.
What if customers complain about products being damaged when they collect it later?
As long as your retail staff has sealed the purchased items into the Hands-Free bag at your store in front of the customer and the customer has already requested for the service through our app, the responsibility will not fall on your side.
Is there insurance coverage for damages or loss of items?
Yes, Sunway Malls will have insurance that covers items up to a value of RM10k per item.
